The second is the Kenyan top bar hive. We will be discussing a few other types of hive systems as well. Students will have the opportunity to to build their own hive using a variety of wood working tools. Building beehives are a great way to learn basic carpentry skills. Students have the option of taking home their hive or taking the course for experience only. Materials fee will be required in advance.
