True San Diegans know summer really starts after Labor Day when the tourists have cleared out, June Gloom has lifted, and there's plenty of parking at the beach. Follow along on our road trip up the Pacific Coast Highway, where we’ll feature four ciders and can art inspired by destinations and ingredients along the PCH. First stop, Locals Only Citrus Cider featuring juicy tangerines and refreshing lemons from San Diego's organic Stehly Farms. This tart, juicy, slightly sweet cider is best enjoyed while watching surfers at Windansea Beach. The can art is by Artist Holly Dicecco, a former Bivouac employee.
Head to Bernardo Winery for the 2021 Vintners Wine Festival on Sunday, Oct. 24, 1–4pm to enjoy unlimited wine tastings from San Diego County Vintners, charcuterie, live music, and silent auction. Must be over 21 to attend.
Enjoy a decadent coursed pairing dinner prepared by locally-celebrated Chef Chef Duval Warner from Ranch 45 in collaboration with Estancia's Executive Chef Vincent Savignano.
