Attendees can get to EcoFest this year using a FREE 60-minute pass by BCycle Encinitas. And, this year, EcoFest will be the FIRST one-day event in San Diego County to implement a reusable dish and flatware system to achieve truer zero waste status!

The day will start off with an onstage painting by acclaimed Lama Monk Tashi Norbu with welcoming remarks by State Assemblyperson Boerner-Horvath, County Supervisor Lawson-Reber, and Encinitas Mayor Blakespear.

Attendees can view a dozen electric cars including the new Ford Lightning and Mach-E Mustang, Solo, and others, electric bike test rides, a bike rodeo, San Diego Fix-it Clinic, Master Gardeners, and various children’s activities ranging from recycled art to creative bubbles with “The Bubble Man,” to Solana Center’s worm bins to an eco-scavenger hunt.

There will be delicious food from SeaCoCatch and Krishna’s Kitchens food trucks, and a Libations Lounge with craft beer from Pure Project, Burgeon, California Wild Ales, Duck Foot, and Black Plague, as well as hard Kombucha from Flying Embers and Jaybird, and even First Light Coffee Whiskey and wine provided by ICA. In addition, Living Tea and Proud Source will provide water.

2021 award-winning singer-songwriter Lee Coulter, Dryad, Seepy Pearls and others will entertain attendees on the music stage. Lama Monk Tashi Norbu will demonstrate a sand mandala during the event.

Those who walk, bike, carpool, or take public transportation to the event will be rewarded with a free raffle ticket to win one of over $1,000 in prizes. Attendees can also earn raffle tickets by bringing a reusable water bottle or completing the Ecoscavenger Hunt!
