San Diego’s top pastry chefs featured at the Pop-Up Pie Shop include Justin Gaspar and Juan Lopez of Hommage Bakehouse, as well as Gianna Buzzetta of Puesto, Laura Warren of Animae, Rachel King of Kaneh Co., and Jose Alonozo III of Nine-Ten, who will gather at Hommage Bakehouse to bring exciting flavors like Coconut Calamansi Pie, Apple Chai Crumble, and Chocolate Pecan Cheesecake Pie. Pies are nine inches and priced at $35 each.
As with all Friendly Feast events, the Pop-Up Pie Shop aims to bring the community together for a good cause, with proceeds from this event benefiting the Friendly Feast scholarship fund, which supports the next generation of San Diego chefs and bakers. Starting on Tuesday, November 16th, order your assortment of pies in advance via Friendly Feast’s website, then head to Hommage on November 21st from 10:00am to 11:30am to pick up just in time for your holiday celebrations!
