Sustainable living is a mission that The San Diego Air & Space Museum is dedicated to spreading awareness about. The museum developed a vision of an edible garden in the Pavilion of Flight over the last year. This garden is to serve as a learning tool to show our community that sustainable living is possible—even in the most unique situations. Under the direction of Tina @tinagrowsthings, Airam @itsthymetogarden, Cass @gardentotablewithcass, and the @sandiegoseedswap afternoon crew of volunteers, the museum’s vision came to fruition with a thriving garden in a place we felt the need to celebrate! The Museum will be hosting a special Refuel + Cultivate: Urban Sips & Garden Tips experience on Friday, Oct. 8, from 6:30 to 10:00pm in the Museum’s Pavilion of Flight.
The Museum is partnering with Epic Gardening and Feeding San Diego (“Ending Hunger Through Food Rescue”) for this one-of-a-kind event.
