The rotating wine list at Garden Kitchen includes over 100 carefully selected wines. Chef and owner Coral Strong pays special attention to maintaining a well-rounded list in line with the true farm-to-table ethos of her menu.

Half of the wine list is sourced locally with many labels from San Diego wine regions like Ramona, Escondido, Oceanside, Dulzura, and Baja, with a healthy selection from the Valle de Guadalupe. The remaining list highlights different worldly regions, with most being boutique producers.

Strong highlights the diversity of locally sourced produce featured in her 7 course tasting menu with an optional wine pairing  to complement each course. The pairings enhance and engage the flavors and sensations of the unique Garden Kitchen dining experience with a pleasant crescendo of tastes throughout the intimate dining experience.

Expect the tasting dinner to begin with a glass of the perfect champagne offered upon arrival to awaken the palate. This champagne is chosen after all the pairings have been selected to best prepare guests for the ensuing courses. Each wine is introduced in turn at every table and presented with each course.

Most new wines are shared with Garden Kitchen’s wine club members first, who receive three new wines each month, then added to their wine list to be enjoyed during seven-course pairings. The tasting menu experience is available Friday and Saturday by reservation only.
