Let's Make 2021 the Year to Get on with St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations
If you haven’t a baldy notion about what to do for St. Patrick’s Day this year, we’ve compiled a wee list
Our annual celebration of Irish culture might look different this year—but compared to last year, this is going to as easy as a cupcake. We’re keeping spirits high with a little socially-distanced something for everyone.
If you must venture out, do so safely and reserve a table at the Julep Venue’s St. Paddy’s Day pop-up event offering limited seatings for a 90-minute Celtic dining experience with live music, cocktails by Snake Oil Cocktail Co., and Irish-inspired gifts curated by To Be Designed on March 12, 13, and 17.
Cooking Round the World will be hosting a cooking workshop for kids on March 15 at the San Marcos Community Center where kids will learn to make Irish potato soup with dumplings, soda bread, and Irish pinwheel cookies.
Grab the kids and embark on an outdoor scavenger hunt at The Water Conservation Garden in El Cajon. There’s a lost leprechaun and Ms. Smarty-Plants needs your help finding gold coins that will lead to her leprechaun pal.
Getting in a Proper Irish Brekkie
Dan Diego’s weekend brunch offers the full Irish set up with rasher, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms, and beans served alongside three eggs, white and black pudding, and soda bread like a proper Irish breakfast should be.
Time for Tea
Julian Tea and Cottage Arts will be offering a special St. Patrick’s Tea service March 17–22 with limited outdoor seating (weather permitting) and takeout available
Skip Cooking for Corned Beef
Ranch 45 in Solana Beach will be serving up corned beef and cabbage all day on March 17.
Cupcakes with lots of frosting and rainbows from Gluten Free Baking Co. are mandatory.
Green Happy Hour
