Ingredients for

Daybreak Seaweed Popcorn

2 tablespoons coconut oil
1⁄2 cup popcorn kernels
Olive oil to taste
2 tablespoons seaweed flakes or spicy seaweed flakes
2 teaspoons sea salt
1–2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional)

Instructions for

Daybreak Seaweed Popcorn

Add coconut oil to a pot and put on medium-high heat. After a few moments, add 2 kernels to the pot; when they have popped, the oil is hot enough to pop the kernels. Add the remaining 1⁄2 cup of kernels to the pot and cover. (Keep a crack in the lid to let steam escape.) Shake every so often. When the popping has slowed to 1 to 2 seconds between pops, turn off the heat and take the popcorn out of the pot. Drizzle olive oil over popcorn, shake on seaweed flakes, salt, and nutritional yeast (if using). Mix and enjoy!
